Rikei Corporation (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, President & CEO: Katsuei Aoyagi) announces today that it starts to sell a high-performance and compact new product, RF recorder “RF-5100” developed and produced by Averna Technologies Inc. (Head Office: Montreal, Canada, President & CEO: Pascal Pilon)

In the car navigation equipment manufacturing industries across the world which has required you to prepare multiple testers to meet specific broadcasting standards in specific regions, Averna has been supplying the Universal Receiver Tester (URT) to the international market, which enables one single unit to be able to meet multiple broadcasting standards resulting in huge cost reductions on the part of users.

About “RP-5100” series

These products are designed to support the entire spectrum by realizing a wide range of frequencies from 250KHz to 2.5GHz as well as a recording bandwidth of 20MHz for each channel. With the industry’s top level noise floor of -172dBm/Hz, it has become possible to optimize the performance of the receivers under a weak signal condition, providing users with very competitive advantages. They are also designed to be able to record actual RF environments in the best way.

• Recoding options such as for video, GPS positioning information, CANBus, etc. at the time of RF recoding are also available.

By using a Record & Playback System which incorporates Averna’s RP-5100 series, you can repeatedly reproduce electric waves environment at the site, thus making it possible to reduce the number of processes in actual testing and also to commonalize test data to be used.
