Rikei Joins NVIDIA Omniverse Partner Council Japan Helping Establish Collaborations and Create Simulations in the New Era

Rikei Corporation (headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Satoru Isaka; hereinafter “Rikei”) announced that it has joined the NVIDIA Omniverse™ Partner Council Japan (hereinafter the “Omniverse Partner Council”) formed by NVIDIA Corporation (headquarters: California, USA).

On December 7, 2021, NVIDIA announced that it would form the Omniverse Partner Council in Japan. The Omniverse Partner Council promotes the sharing of information about solutions related to the NVIDIA Omniverse, improved knowledge in case development, and market development through promotional and awareness-raising activities. It is an organization whose goal is supporting companies’ introduction of NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise based on bilateral cooperation among partners.
Currently, there are 24 participating companies, including Rikei.

With this participation, Rikei will start to make proposals to customers about simulation and metaverse using Omniverse.

  • For the automotive and drone industries
    Generating training data for autonomous driving and flying AI using the Omniverse
  • For the manufacturing industry
    Suggesting functional, efficient production workflows using the collaboration function
  • For municipal governments
    Disaster-related simulations and data utilization

In the coming year, the Omniverse Partner Council will focus its efforts on computer graphics production mainly in the media and entertainment industry, the review of multi-user/remote work in game development, and 3D visualization and review for construction and product design, as its target industries and applications of NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise. The Omniverse Partner Council will also work to build the ecosystem* described below to accelerate expansion in Japan.

*Ecosystem: A shared earnings environment surrounding products and services, which is built by multiple companies

  • Preparing materials for considering the introduction, and building a technological assistance/support system
  • Securing facilities, operators, and engineers that enable demonstrations and proof of concept
  • Proposals for deployment and integration system
  • Development engineers who can handle Omniverse connections/embedding
  • Industry-wide collaborations enabling enlightenment and promotions, and the sharing of information.

The Omniverse Partner Council will continually strengthen partnerships in Japan to help establish collaborations and create simulations in the new era.
